Growth of the Christ - to change our nature

Think of Christ's love, beauty and perfection of his nature. Think of Christ in self-denial, humility in Christ, Christ in purity and holiness, Christ in his ineffable love - these are subjects for contemplation. Only if you love Christ, if you have it as an example, if relying entirely on him, only then will you change to its form.

Change of Heart, which become little children of God, the Bible is called rebirth. The Bible also likens the change to good seed germination, sown manager. Similarly, those who were being converted to Christ, "like a newborn child" (1 Peter 2:2), which grow (Ephesians 4.15) in adult men and women in Christ Jesus. As the good seed sown in the field to grow and bear fruit. Isaiah writes that "will be called the trees of righteousness, which the Lord planted to celebrate" (Isaiah 61.3). Images from nature were used so that we can easily understand the mysterious truths of spiritual life.

Not all the wisdom and skill of man can raise living things of nature in the slightest. Plants and animals can live only through a life inspired by God Himself. Likewise, only through God breathing life can give birth to spiritual life in the hearts of people. Until a person born "from above" can not participate in life that Christ came to give.

As is true with life, so it is with growth. Only God creates the flower buds and flowers fetus. The power of the seed develops, "first blade, then the ear, then the full ear of wheat" (Mark 4.28). And the prophet Hosea says of Israel that "blossom as the lily.", "Come to life as a corn blossom as the vine" (Hosea 14,5.7). And Jesus calls us, we noticed the lilies, how they grow (see Luke 12:27) . Plants and flowers grow because they spend their own strength, effort and care, but because they are getting from God what gives life to them.

A child can not own power or on its own initiative to grow an inch and just as we do not own efforts to provide spiritual growth, and plant growing child by taking from their surroundings what helps them to life - air, sunshine and nourishment. What these gifts of nature are animals and plants, it is Christ to those who believe in him. It is their "eternal light", "sun and shield" (Isaiah 60.19, Psalm 84.11). Will "as the dew to Israel", "like rain coming down on the lawn clippings (14.5 Oz, Psalm 72.6). The living water, "the bread of God, which descends from heaven and gives life to the world" (John 6:33).

The unbeatable gift, which was his son, God has encircled the whole world air of grace, which is just as real as the air cover, which surrounds the globe. Those who choose to breathe this life-giving atmosphere will live and grow into adult men and women in Christ Jesus.

As a flower turns toward the sun, so it's bright rays helped to beauty and harmonious, so we have to turn to the Sun of Justice, on us shining light of heaven and our evolved nature of the image of Christ.

Jesus teaches us this when it says: "Remain in me, and I in you, as a sapling can not bear the sheep myself, if left on the vine, so neither you abide in me when ... Without me ye can do nothing "(John 15,4.5). To live a holy life, you are just as dependent on Christ, as the sucker-dependent strain that can grow and bear fruit. If you are disconnected from Christ, you have no life. You do not have the strength to resist temptation and grow in grace and holiness. If you dwell in it, you'll be able to thrive. If your life is based on Christ, wither, or be left hanging fruit. You will be like a tree planted by streams of water.

Many think that some work must be done alone. They rely on Christ to forgive their sins, but try to live right by their own efforts. Any such attempt must fail. Jesus says: "Without me ye can do nothing." Our growth in grace, our joy, our usefulness - it all depends entirely on our union with Christ. Will grow in grace, if we are in contact with him, every day, every hour, if we dwell in it. Christ is the only author of our faith, but also the finisher. Christ is the first and last, always. To be with us only at the beginning and end of our journey, but at every step. David to say: "Lord, before I put more eyes, and when my right hand, nothing shake me" (Psalm 16:8).

You ask: "How do I dwell in Christ?" - Just as when you received it first. "Live in Christ Jesus, when you accept him as Lord." "The righteous shall live by faith." (Colossians 2.6; Hebrews 10:38).

God handed you, you were all his, you serve him and he was obedient to him, and you received Christ as their Savior. You could not achieve remission of their sins, or he can transform hearts. When you are surrendered to God, you believe that all this God will do for you, for Christ's merit. By faith you became Christ's ownership and faith in him grow up - that you give and you'll receive. You have to give everything - your heart, your will, your service, you have to give God all, if you want to be obedient to all His commandments, and also everything you need to accept - the fullness of Christ as a blessing, to dwell in your heart, was your strength, your righteousness, your everlasting helper - to give you the strength to obey.

Hallowed be God in the morning, whether it's your first action: Let us pray: "Take me, Lord, as his entire property. I put all my plans at your feet. Use me today in his ministry. Abide in me and give me finished all his work in you. " So pray every day. Each morning consecrate to God for the day ahead. Bring it with all his plans to declare his providence, to be made and which are not. So every day Put your life into God's hands and your life will become more and more fashioned after Christ's life.

Life in Christ's life in balance. Does not need to be some emotional excitement, but it has to be an enduring calm confidence. No insert hope in ourselves but in Christ. Your weakness is associated with its strength, your ignorance to his wisdom, your frailty to his perseverance and strength. You must therefore look at yourself, you must not think for themselves, but you have to look to Christ.

Think about his love of beauty and perfection of his nature. Christ in self-denial, humility in Christ, Christ in purity and holiness, Christ in his ineffable love - these are the themes for meditation. Only if you love Christ, if you have it as an example, if relying entirely on him, only then will you change to its form.

Jesus says, "and dwell in me." These words create a picture room, strength, confidence. He invites us: "Come to me ... and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11,28.29). Psalmist words express the same idea: "Be silent before the Lord and wait on him." And Isaiah gives us the assurance: "In conversion and calm will be your salvation" (Psalm 37.7, Isaiah 30.15). This peace does not lie idle because of the Savior's invitation is the promise of room to work with a challenge: "Take my yoke upon you ... and you shall find rest" (Matthew 11.29). A heart that is full of Christ, working for Christ and most sincerely most ardently.

Dealing with the self, turning away from Christ, the source of power and life. That is why Satan seeks to divert our attention from the Savior and prevent us with him in line and connection. He tries to distract our minds worldly pleasures of life concerns, problems and shortcomings of others or our own faults and weaknesses. Do not be fooled its fictions.

And many of those who are really conscientious, and who want to live for God, often seduced by the fact that they think about their faults and weaknesses, and hopes that it will separate from Christ and the triumph over them. We should therefore think of themselves and we should live in fear and anxiety that we are saved. All of us away from sources of power. Commit yourself fully to God and trust him. Talk about Jesus and think of him. Allow it to lose your "self." Put away all doubt, drive away all fear. Say with the apostle Paul: "What lives are no longer I, but Christ lives in me. If you now live in the flesh, it's the life in the faith of the Son of God who took me to love and gave Himself for me." (Galatians 2:20). Surrender to God. He keeps what he told you. Give over into the hands of him who loves you, make you safe pitfalls.

When Christ took on human form himself, chained themselves to the bond of love of humanity, which no force can break, unless it chooses to do one myself. Satan still guides us and is irritated that we broke this bond, we decided to separate from Christ. Therefore we must watch, fight and pray that nothing could bring us to, we chose another man, you may do so at any time, because we have free will. Let us, therefore, still gaze on Christ and he will protect us. If we look at Jesus, we're safe. Nothing can pull us out of his hand. If ever we look to him, "we changed into his likeness in an ever-greater fame - all by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).

Thus obtained form the first disciples precious Savior. When those disciples heard the words of Jesus, they felt that they need Jesus. Searched him, found and followed. They were with him at home, at your desk, in room and in the field. Came into contact with him as a teacher with students, receive daily instruction from his mouth the truth. Looked to him as a servant to his master to learn his duties. These disciples were men "subject to the same hardships as we are" (James 5:17). Fought the same battle with sin as we do. They were to be the same as us grace to live a holy life.

Even John, the beloved disciple who most resembled the Savior, not beloved character from the beginning. He was an arrogant and ambitious, but also fierce and insulting. When he appeared, however, divine nature of Christ, know their weaknesses and this knowledge he humbled himself. The strength and patience, power and tenderness, grace and humility, which he saw in everyday life of the Son of God, filled his soul with admiration and love.

Every day that his heart is attracted closer to Christ and love for his teacher forgot to wear. His arrogance and ambition gave way to the action of transforming power of Christ. A resurgent influence of the Holy Spirit gave him a new heart. The power of Christ's love caused a change in his character. Such a result shows communion with Jesus. If Christ dwells in the heart, it changes the whole nature of the ground. Spirit of Christ and his love of taking over the heart, elevated thoughts and desires to God and heaven.

When Christ entered into heaven, remained in his followers still feel his presence. It was a personal presence full of love and light. Jesus, Savior of them walked and talked, and who prayed with them to provide their hearts the hope and comfort, they were taken away to heaven with a message of room on the lips. And when he took the crowd of angels, the disciples still heard the sound of his voice, saying: "Behold, I am with you alway even unto the end of the age" (Matthew 28.20). Christ ascended to heaven in human form. The disciples saw it before the throne of God is still their friend and Savior, that his love has not changed, it is still one of suffering humanity. He presented before God the merits of your precious blood, and showed his wounded hands and feet as a reminder of the price they paid for redemption. They knew that ascended into heaven to prepare a place for them, and come back and take it to him.

When the disciples came together after the ascension of their Lord, gave a prayer to the Father in Jesus' name. With reverence and awe are bent in prayer and repeated the promise of Jesus: "If you ask the Father for something, you give it in my name. You have not begged for anything in my name, ask and you shall receive, that your joy completed "(John 16,23.24). He raised his hand of faith higher and higher with a compelling statement: "Christ Jesus who died and who was raised, the right hand of God interceding for us" (Romans 8:34).

Pentecost brought them the presence of the Paraclete, of whom Christ said: "It will be in you." And then he said: "You be good for me to leave. When you go away, the Comforter will not come to you. I'll leave if I send it to you" (John 14.17; 16:7). Since then, the Spirit of Christ dwell permanently in the hearts of his followers. Their communion was now closer than when he was with them personally. Light, love and power of Christ to dwell in them, they emanated from, so people looking at them, "they wondered, get to know, that had been with Jesus" (Acts 4:13).

Everything that was Christ to his disciples, he wants to be his followers today, because in his last prayer, when gathered around him a small crowd of disciples, saying: "Please, not only for them but also for those who have their word to believe in me" (John 17.20). Jesus prayed for us and asked us to be one with him as he is one with the Father. What a unity!

The Savior said to himself: "The Son can not of itself amount to nothing," the Father who dwells in me does his works "(John 5.19, 14.10). If Christ dwells in our hearts, we will act "as an act of will and good decisions." We will work the way he worked, we show the same spirit. So, if we love him and if we dwell in it, will grow "all-in him who is the head, that is Christ" (Ephesians 4:15).
