On September 16, 1987 were analyzed artifacts that were identified as (on-board wood beams). Galbraith Laboratory in Tennessee Knowville tested in these samples. Result of analysis showed that the sample tested from the outside, showed 1.88% and carbon samples tested from the inside contained 4.95% carbon. This amount of carbon agrees with the presence of former living matter, such as it is rotten or petrified wood. In the sample was found surprisingly large proportion of iron.
In June 1991, during a visit to Noah's Ark by Ron Wyatt and his research team has found remains of the rivets. Research has shown that it is a head rivets with washers, which are probably held together by wooden beams of Noah's Ark. Were also found fossilized remains of wood and wood lamination. This is evidence that before the flood was great working knowledge of various materials.
In the Bible we read that the rich knowledge of metals was already known in antiquity. (Numbers 31:21-24, Deuteronomy 8:9, Job 28:2, Job 41:18, Genesis 4:22)
In February 1992, conducted a thorough analysis of rivets Richard Rives in the laboratory. Samples were analyzed by what looked like a pad area of rivet head and 1 cm from the pad. This analysis Rivet testified that the location 1 contains 1.88% and 1,97% carbon, while location 2 contains 0.14% and 0.13% carbon. Scientists have made this notation: (It is interesting to note that it was found that the placement of 1 - probably the fossilized wood contains much more carbon than location 2 - apparently fossilized metal.)
