Luke 11.1 - "Lord, teach us to pray like that John taught his disciples."

Luke 18.1 - He told them a parable, as is still needed to pray and not give up:

What is prayer?

To have a spiritual life and spiritual strength, we are living in conjunction with our heavenly Father. Although it is embracing his mind, even when we think about his work, his grace and blessing, we need to have fellowship with God, we must turn to Him for advice on matters of everyday life.

Prayer is the opening of the heart to God as a friend. There is no need to supply a prayer to God, we are, but we can take it to heart. Prayer does not bring God to us, but brings us to God. People over the past millennia believed in God, and longed for it. They felt that they needed the connection with God. Until the last century, thanks to the development of science and technology has brought a great turning point. People no longer need God. But one feels instinctively that needs prayer, it is indelibly encoded in the human heart in moments of great need or danger to her person often returns.

Prayer is a rare communion between an ordinary man and majesty of space, the Creator of the world. In prayer we experience God's presence here on earth. Prayer is the conversation between man and God: man will present his thoughts to God and God is waiting for a response. Prayer is breathing the soul, faith building, deliberately maintained connections with a source of strength and wisdom. Jesus Christ is our example and our interpretation of the nature and pointed to the importance of prayer. God's Prayer questioned and confirmed the words of the Old Testament prophets.

Jeremiah 33.3 - Call me and I'll answer, I will show you a great secret, which you do not know.

The prayer can be at any time wherever we are. We can still negotiate with God what we are doing, or praise and asking for help and protection.

1 Thessalonians 5.17 - constantly praying. In addition, it is also important deep prayer in private.

CONDITIONS heard our prayers

1 The prayer of faith.

It is the inner conviction that God is and that He loves us and wants us to lead lives that we want to maintain friendships.

Hebrews 11.6 - Without faith he did his popularity no one gains. He who comes to God must believe that God is and that it rewards those who seek it.

2nd Prayer in Jesus Christ.

God accepts us for our goodness, excellence and honesty. We are in God's perspective very sinful. God accepts us in Jesus Christ.

John 14:6 - "I am the Way, the Truth and the Life," Jesus answered. "No one comes to the Father except through me.

Acts 4.12 - in no one else there is no salvation - people in the world is given another name, in which we must be saved! "

John 14,13-14 - Whatsoever you ask in my name, I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

3 Identifying with God's will.

While presenting my supplication to God, always attach the Christ "not my will but yours be done".

1 John 5.14 - This is the boldness which we have it: Whenever we ask for something in his will, he hears us.

4 Time, place and method of prayer.

Jesus showed us by example that it is good to pray in private and especially in the morning. In the morning prayer, a person receives spiritual strength for the day. Then, to better carry out their duties, and hold out the temptation. Serve others faithfully and responsibly to decide.

Matthew 6.6 - Rather, when you pray, go into your room, shut the door and pray to your Father who is secretly.

Mark 1.35 - In the morning he rose long before dawn and went out. He went to a deserted place and prayed there.

As we approach in prayer to God Majesty the universe, we should make it clear by their attitude. It's good for private prayer kneel, preferably close your eyes and clasp hands. At the end of a prayer to say "Amen".

Daniel 6.10 - Knelt there three times a day to pray to his God and gave him praise as before.

5 First, to forgive others.

The Lord Jesus in many places has shown that the earliest we forgive others.

Matthew 5, 23-24 - Therefore if you brought your gift at the altar and there you remember that your brother has something against you, leave your gift there before the altar and go first be reconciled to your brother. And therefore in the "Our Father" are the words, and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive our debtors.

6th The basic types of prayer.

1 Timothy 2,1 - First of all, please, to hold prayers, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving for all men, for kings and all the senior level, we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.

Wrong ideas about prayer

Even prayer has its rules and conditions to be followed. Jesus Christ as our example, the greatest prayer pointed to several factors that prevent the hearing of prayers.

1 Incorrect thoughtless prayers are chanted learned by heart.

Prayer is conversation with God, and should not learn it and repeat over and over again. Even the prayer "Our Father". Then Christ said, as a model.

Jeremiah 29,12-13 - When you call me and come to me with prayers, I hear you. You will seek me and find me when you seek Me with all your heart.

2nd Incorrect long and verbose prayers.

Matthew 6.7 - So, when you pray, do not say empty words like the pagans who think they will be heard for their many words. Prayer is not trying to inform God, but rather - to tell him their ideas and requests and then try to identify with the solution.

3 Wrong is a spectacular parade of prayer.

Matthew 6.5 - Also, when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites. They is happy to stand in prayer in the synagogues and on street corners to be shown in front of people. Verily I say unto you, that they have received their reward.

4 Useless prayers to the saints and the dead.

Revelation 19.10 - then I fell at his feet, I worship him, but he told me: "Beware, do not! I am a servant of God, as you and your brothers who have the testimony of Jesus. Worship God! "

We do not even worship the angels let alone humans, even if they are declared to be holy.

5 We can not impose their ideas to God and his will.

Therefore, the model prayer are the words:

Matthew 6.10 - "Thy will be done as in heaven and on earth."

Matthew 26.42 - "O my Father, if this cup pass me, but I drink it, let it be your will!"

6th It's bad when a person pays only God rest his time when he's tired.

Mark 1.35 - In the morning he rose long before dawn and went out. He went to a deserted place and prayed there.

Jesus prayed several times a day because he did not hesitate to get up even earlier. Similarly, Daniel prayed three times a day at least.
