"Enter by the narrow gate large gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many are those who enter through it. Strait is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and few find it. "(Matthew 7,13.14)
Two roads, which were discussed here, leads in the opposite direction, one is narrow and bumpy, the other is wider and smoother, but leads to destruction.
Those who follow these two roads are different, as regards the nature, manner of dress and behavior. Those who walk the narrow path, are serious and sincere, but joyful. The way they open a man of sorrows, who also himself passed. They see his tracks, and it found solace. When you go after her, speaks of joy and happiness that await them at the end.
Those who go through a wide, busy with thoughts of worldly pleasures. Free to indulge in mirth and joy and all not thinking about the end of his journey.
Along the way, death can come with their worldly thinking, selfishness, moral decay, his pride and dishonesty all. Is there a place for ideas and teachings of each man. Everyone is free to follow their inclinations and do whatever he commands his self-love. If you are going to ruin, we need to ask for directions, because the gate is wide and spacious road, and our own feet apart facing the path that ends in death.
The way of life is narrow and the gate is tight. If you are clinging to some sin, which is deeply rooted in you, you will find that the gate is too close and you can not pass it. To keep on the path of God, must renounce their own paths, their own will, their habits and non-Christian ways. Whoever wants to follow Christ can not be governed by secular views, or to meet secular standards.
The road to heaven is too narrow to ensure that after the pomp rode jet set is too narrow for the egocentric and ambitious plans, too steep and bumpy, so for her fans to increase comfort. Christ's fate was hard work, patience, sacrifice, disgrace, poverty, and pull sinners. If we enter into the paradise of God must be our destiny the same.
You should not conclude that the way up is hard, while the easy way down. All along the road that leads to death, the pain and punishment, sorrow and disappointment, there are warnings that we should not continue. God's love is blind and complicated the wayward people of their own destruction. It is true that Satan seems to be attractive, but it's all a fallacy, the path of evil in the form accompanies the care of bitter remorse and decay. We can assume that it is pleasant to drive with pride and worldly ambition, but at the end of the pain and grief.
Selfish plans for us may be a flattering promises, and we hope to offer benefits, but we find that our happiness is poisoned and our life has centered on the bitter taste of hope for our own ego. Maybe the gate on the way down to the glitter and decorated with flowers, but thorns grow this way. The light of hope that shines from the gate, gradually fading until it turns to the darkness of despair, a man who goes this route descends into the shadows of the endless night.
The road to heaven is narrow, but all she could find. Her father clearly marked out his hand. Every God-fearing sinner can walk in a pure and holy light. Although the way up is sometimes difficult and often laborious, even as Christians must sometimes plodding and endure hardship, be happily moving forward and trusting as a child in the loving guidance of those who "guard the feet of his saints" (1 Samuel 2.9 ). Whether in mind that the way it, it eventually leads to the mansions which Christ left to prepare for those who love him. "The path of the righteous is as bright light, shining more and more unto the perfect day." (Proverbs 4:18)
