Many people are afraid of hell and eternal suffering. But hell? The Bible speaks of hell that is only until the final day of reckoning comes. When Jesus Christ resurrects the wicked and gives a decision at all, then there is hell to cleanse our country from the sin, the eternal and unquenchable fire and destroy all sinners. This will be the second, final and eternal death. Then God will restore and creating new land.

Theory of purgatory and the immortality of the soul is a figment of philosophy, which laid the foundations of Plato. Throughout the Bible you find verses speaking, that the soul was immortal, or that there was a purgatory!

The Bible is quite clear many verses that speak about the dead sleep and do not know anything until the second coming of Jesus Christ. Then Jesus Christ resurrects the dead and reward according to their deeds.

Those verses are so many that if we interpret a few verses at issue as the parable of the Rich man and Lazarus, or a robber on the cross so that it is no eternal hell, we would deny the rest of the Bible, including the doctrine of resurrection and second coming of Jesus Christ.

The whole theory of purgatory, eternal suffering in hell denies absolutely the most important - the resurrection of the dead on the second coming of Jesus Christ to our earth!

Let the Bible speak. Judge for yourself what that says.

Where the dead sleep?

Daniel 12.2 - then he wakes up many who sleep in the dust of the earth. Some to everlasting life, others to shame, for the eternal warning.

Ecclesiastes 3.20 - all point to the same place - all are from dust to dust all return again. Who knows that the human spirit goes upward while the spirit of the animal disappears below ground? (expiration Spirit = God, we got the creature, not an immortal soul.)

Ecclesiastes 9,10 - anything to take hold your hand, do I go about its best - after all, you're going to the grave, where is nothing to do, lacking sense, wisdom and knowledge!

When the dead will rise and there is a resurrection?

1 Thessalonians 4.16 - You will hear a rousing command, the voice of the archangel and the trump of God, the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven and the first time the dead in Christ shall rise.

John 5.28 - do not be surprised, because time is coming when all who are in the graves shall hear his voice and come forth - those who have done good will be resurrected to life, but those who act evil to the resurrection of court.

1 Corinthians 15.52 - Up to blow, the dead will be resurrected to immortality and we changed.

1 Corinthians 15.42 - This is also the resurrection. Burying the mortal body, Jesus is immortal. (The faithful believers).

Revelation 20.6 - Blessed and holy is he that has part in the first resurrection. Over such the second death has no power.

What does the Bible say about retribution for sin?

Romans 6.23 - wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Ezekiel 18.4 - Lo - I include all life, life as parents and children's lives! Life will pay the one who sinned.

What is this kind of death?

2nd Thessalonians 1:8-9 - The Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with his mighty angels in flaming fire, to punish those who do not recognize God and accept the gospel of our Lord Jesus. Their punishment will be eternal destruction in the separation from the Lord and from his awesome power.

This is the ultimate fire the man?

Matthew 10.28 - Do not fear those who kill the body but can not kill the soul. Rather, fear him who can destroy both soul and body in hell.

Ezekiel 18.20 - The soul that sins shall die; son shall not suffer for the iniquity of the fathers and father will not suffer for the iniquity of the son.
